Leeds United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest transfer claim to emerge concerning the Yorkshire club.
This post then gathered a number of replies from Whites supporters, who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on this latest claim.
So, what did these Leeds fans have to say in response to this claim about Casilla?
“Yes finally goodbye Kiko”
“Just when you think things can’t get better”
“Loads off the wage bill. Good move for everyone at the club really”
“The good news just keeps coming”
“Fabulous news, if true #lufc“
Leeds signed Casilla back in the 2019 January window on a free transfer from Spanish giants Real Madrid. Since then, the 34-year-old, whose current contract is set to expire in 2023, has made 62 appearances for Leeds, in which he has managed to keep 23 clean sheets (per Transfermarkt).
Would you be happy to see Casilla potentially leave Leeds this summer?
Looking at the replies to this post, it seems as though these Leeds fans would be over the moon to see Casilla leave the club this summer if what his agent claims turns out to be true.
Given how Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa praised Casilla after selecting him to play in the club’s 2-0 win over Southampton towards the end of last season, it seems strange, in our view, that the club would supposedly let him leave on loan for the forthcoming campaign.
