Leeds United fans have been reacting to claims surrounding midfielder Adam Forshaw.
The midfielder has had an awful time the past few years at Elland Road. Having had long spells in the first team throughout his 52 appearances since moving to the club in January 2018, a devastating hip injury has left him out of action for most of the past couple of seasons, with his last appearance coming in September 2019.
But speaking during a Q&A for Leeds Live, journalist Beren Cross provided a very positive update, claiming: “As of yesterday I was told he had been involved in training, which is a great sign. We will obviously learn a lot more when we see the squads Bielsa puts out in the friendlies next week.”
The news was relayed to fans on the Leeds Insider Facebook page, where there were plenty of fans that were delighted to see him back on the mend:
Can Forshaw play for Leeds this season?
Although, given how well Leeds have done without him, it may be very hard for him to try and get his place back in the team for the upcoming season.
