Many Leeds United fans have been talking about a transfer update from journalist Pete O’Rourke that emerged on social media.
O’Rourke recently tweeted an update about Leeds, claiming that the club’s youngster Leif Davis is close to joining Championship outfit Bournemouth on a loan deal this summer.
It has been suggested that the Cherries are in advanced talks to sign the youngster, who is on the verge of signing for the south coast club.

O’Rourke’s update involving Davis caught the attention of many Leeds supporters, who then gave their views about this potential move.

Some Leeds fans seem glad that the move is happening and they seem optimistic about the youngster’s chances, however, a couple were more saddened by the rumour.
Davis is now 21, but his game time with the Leeds first team hasn’t exactly increased since he made his debut. He played only 31 minutes of Premier League football last season, playing the majority of his games in the Premier League 2 for the Under-23 side.
With Leeds having signed Junior Firpo from Barcelona, Davis’ chances in the first team may reduce further. So if Davis can get some regular football at Bournemouth in the Championship and then return to Leeds as a better player, he may have a chance at playing for the senior Whites team come the following summer.
