Sheffield Wednesday fans have turned to to react to the latest news surrounding Osaze Urhoghide following his move to Celtic. 

This comes after the 21-year-old’s move to Celtic was confirmed last week and in the process, Urhoghide became Ange Postecoglou’s first signing since joining the Bhoys.

Wednesday journalist for The Star, Joe Crann, has tweeted that the Owls will receive around £150,000 in compensation for Urhoghide, despite the leaving on a free transfer.

Judging by the responses to the tweet there are mixed reactions, with many thinking it’s ‘terrible’, whilst others believe it’s better than nothing to receive a small fee for the youngster.

Urhoghide departs the club having played 21 games for the Sheffield Wednesday first team in his career.
