Sheffield Wednesday fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest transfer claim to emerge concerning the Yorkshire club.

This comes after Wednesday journalist Dom Howson shared a post on his official Twitter page claiming that the Owls are in talks to sign former Southampton winger Josh Sims.

Howson also added that Sims is a free agent and previously worked with Wednesday manager Darren Moore at Doncaster Rovers last season.

This post then quickly grabbed the attention of a lot of Owls supporters who were not shy in airing their thoughts and feelings on this latest claim.

So, what did these Wednesday fans have to say in response to this news from Howson about the club’s interest in Sims?

Looking at the replies to this post from Howson, it’s clear to see that these Wednesday fans would be over the moon to see their club sign Sims this summer.

Would you be happy to see Wednesday sign Josh Sims?

No

No

Given how Sims managed to score three goals and provide six assists under Moore’s management when the pair were at Doncaster, as Howson mentioned in his post, everyone at the club will undoubtedly be hoping that the 24-year-old winger will be able to have a similar goalscoring impact at Wednesday if he does end up there this summer.
