Sheffield United fans have been reacting to the latest transfer news surrounding the future of Aaron Ramsdale, who has been linked with a move away from Bramall Lane this summer.

The latest claim comes following the recent links suggesting that Arsenal have an interest in Sheffield United’s No 1, and fans have been reacting after Sheffield United-focused account The Bladesman relayed a claim from the Daily Star’s Alex Wood, saying that the Gunners may target West Bromwich Albion’s Sam Johnstone, with the Blades demanding a sum of at least £25m for Ramsdale.

Fans were quick to give their feelings on the news…

“Glad we are sticking to our guns for once. They’ve known the amount we want from the start but thought they could get him for a lot less.”

Judging by the reactions to the update, Blades fans would be happy if they get to keep their goalkeeper this summer, as they prepare for life back in the Championship under new manager Slavisa Jokanovic.

Ramsdale was re-signed for the Blades last summer for a fee of £18.5 million after United had originally sold him for under £1 million to Bournemouth in 2017, as per Transfermarkt.

Reports recently have suggested there is interest from the Gunners in the 23-year-old, but the Blades reportedly want ‘in excess’  of £25 million for the goalkeeper, who has an unfortunate record of being relegated from the Premier League in the last two seasons with two different sides and will be hoping to change his fortunes with some success next season.
