Queens Park Rangers fans have been reacting to claims surrounding a move for Fulham midfielder Stefan Johansen.
The 30-year-old, valued at £1.8m on Transfermarkt, spent the latter half of last season on loan at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, scoring three goals and chipping in with two assists in the process, helping guide Mark Warburton’s men to a respectable 9th-place finish in the division.
It seems as if Fulham aren’t willing to have him stick around next season as they look to bounce back to the top flight, and QPR have reportedly been working incredibly hard to try and get him to come back on a permanent deal. And that work looks to have paid off as according to journalist Sean Gallagher, the Norwegian is scheduled to undergo a medical at the club on Friday.
The news reached QPR fans on Twitter, and it’s fair to say that they were pretty happy to see the news come through:
“The final piece of the jigsaw. Anything else that comes in is a bonus. The best bit of business by the club since I’ve been around.”
Will QPR earn promotion next season?
Yes!
No!
It certainly will be interesting to see whether or not he’ll be able to have the same impact at the club with a full season under his belt rather than just half of one.
