Queens Park fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest to emerge surrounding the club.

This comes after the official QPR Twitter account shared a post on their page revealing that Sam Field will undergo a knee scan after suffering an injury in training.

The post also included an image of Field with a quote from the head of the club’s medical department, Dr Imtiaz Ahmad, saying that the scan will “determine the nature of his rehab and the length of recovery time”.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from QPR supporters, who were quick to share their responses to this latest news.

So, what did these QPR fans have to say in response to this latest about Field?

“Promotion train postponed. Unless”

“Even more reason to bring in Johansen.”

“Well that is not good. Hope not too much of an issue.”

“A knock is better than a torn ligament, so…”

“We need to stop getting players in who are like glass. I really want the best for him but you would think we would have learned our lesson with Tom Carroll”

“Good luck to him and let’s hope it’s a minor thing. A big part of our success this season will come down to managing the fitness and availability of players. Field, De Wijs, Dozzell, Odubajo (nearly) all signed with questionable injury records, it’s a measured risk…”

Looking at the replies to this post, it’s apparent that these QPR fans are disappointed to hear about this injury to Field.

Are you concerned by this news?

Given how the 23-year-old has had issues with his knee in the past – with his most recent injury keeping him out of action from October to January, it’s understandable why some of these fans are concerned about this latest news.

Hopefully, the scan will show that this latest injury is not serious, and Field will be able to get back to action as soon as possible.
