Queens Park Rangers fans have been reacting to the latest transfer news and rumours involving the Hoops.

This comes as they announced the signing of goalkeeper Jordan Archer on the club’s Twitter account.

Archer has signed a two-year contract with the club after becoming a free agent following his release from Middlesbrough.

QPR fans weren’t shy when sharing their feelings on the signing of Archer…

“Has to be one of the most disappointing signings I’ve ever seen.”

“Remember he is going to be in goal for us when Dieng goes to the African Nations Cup! Maybe we need to give him confidence rather than knock him down”

“How does this man keep getting jobs, worst keeper I’ve seen in my lifetime”

Judging by the reaction from QPR fans, they aren’t too impressed by the signing of Archer, who has presumably been brought in as the understudy for Seny Dieng – replacing Liam Kelly, who has left for Motherwell, where he spent the second half of last season on loan.

Archer joined Milwall on a free transfer in 2015 after leaving Spurs. Since then, he has played for Oxford United, Motherwell, Fulham and Middlesbrough before joining the R’s.

The 28-year-old failed to keep a clean sheet during his time at Boro, appearing six times and conceding 10 goals – so perhaps these fans’ lack of confidence is rather justified.
