Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to the latest news and rumours surrounding the football club.

This comes as The Athletic’s Daniel Taylor claimed on Twitter that Forest fans should be keeping their eye on Zian Flemming, following reports in Dutch outlet Veronica Inside suggesting that Forest have made a bid for the 22-year-old with the player previously indicating he would be interested in a move.

This was picked up by Forest fans, who were quick to respond with their feelings on the situation…

An Ajax graduate coming off the back of 2 very good seasons and is still just 22. Certainly passes the YouTube eye test. Sounds like a really promising move. Hope we can get it done. #nffc

Judging by the reactions to the tweet, Forest fans would be buzzing if Flemming was to join the club.

The 22-year-old currently plays his club football in the Eredivisie for Fortuna Sittard, joining there last summer from PEC Zwolle.

The attacking midfielder, who is diverse and has also played in central midfield, centre-forward and right-wing for his club last season, scored 12 goals and provided 7 assists and has reportedly caught the eye of Forest bosses with a WhoScored rating of 7.14 in the Eredivisie.

Forest fans will be hoping this is deal that they can get over the line as judging by his output last term, Flemming could make a great signing for the club, and could help Chris Hughton’s side push for promotion next season…
