Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has been speaking on his latest Twitch stream to discuss all things related to potential summer switches.
One name that Romano mentioned during his stream was the Hertha Berlin forward, Matheus Cunha.
Should Leeds sign Cunha?
The Brazilian has been linked with a potential summer switch to the Premier League, with Leeds said to be interested in the 22-year-old.
However, with Cunha representing his country at this summer’s Olympics, any potential move for the Hertha star may have to wait until the conclusion of the Games.
Discussing the latest on Cunha’s future, Romano had the following to say.
“Good player, a really good player. I really love this player. What I’m told from Hertha sources at the moment is there is nothing advanced yet with Leeds and the negotiation is not so easy.”
TIF Thoughts on Cunha to Leeds…
He has suffered from a couple of injuries in the German capital which has hindered his goal return for Hertha, but he could prove an exciting addition to Marcelo Bielsa’s side with age still very much on his side.
However, it is believed it will take an offer in the region €40m (£34.5m) for Hertha to consider selling Cunha, which we still feel is a lot of money for a player who is yet to net over seven goals in a Bundesliga campaign.
