Leeds fans have been reacting on Twitter to the latest news and updates involving the Whites.

This comes as Leeds-focused Twitter account All Leeds TV posted a picture of 21-year-old Ian Poveda without a shirt on, which was posted on the player’s Instagram Story, and captioned it: ‘It’s quite clear that all the work and “grind” Poveda put in over the off-season has bulked him up. No wonder he was a popular boy.’

Leeds fans were quick to respond to the tweet with their views on the winger’s ‘off-season’ work…

“Excellent. You could see him doing some heavy lifting on his Instagram posts. He needs that bit of explosive power in his game and it may just take him to the next level.”

Judging by the responses to the tweet, Leeds fans are impressed with the work ethic of the 21-year-old, who is looking in good shape.

Poveda was born in England but has heritage in Colombia and was signed by the Whites in January 2020 from Manchester City on a free transfer.

The youngster, who possesses the ability to play on either flank, made his Premier League debut for the club against Sheffield United last season, playing 24 minutes in a 1-0 win for Leeds.

Poveda made 14 appearances for Leeds in the Premier League last season, but will undoubtedly be wanting to make more of an impression on Bielsa this season in order to get higher up the pecking order, which can be told by the hard work he continues to put in off the field.
