Judging by the reactions from Leeds fans, many of them are excited by the expected arrival of the full-back.

According to WhoScored, Junior Firpo appeared in 17 matches for Barcelona last season and received a rating of 6.51 for his performances across all competitions. However, Firpo only managed 6 starts, suggesting he is clearly out of favour and a move may be beneficial for all parties.

The rumoured fee for the left-back is £12.9 million which would mean Barcelona would be losing money on the 24-year-old, after signing him from Real Betis for a fee of just over £16 million in August 2019 (as per Transfermarkt).

It is thought that Leeds are planning a tactical change next season, with Stuart Dallas likely to be moved into the left of midfield with Firpo playing behind him in a natural left-back position.

His transfer may not have been confirmed just yet, but it appears many supporters are looking forward to seeing Firpo in a Whites shirt.
