Many Leeds United fans have been hailing Victor Orta for his efforts in signing Junior Firpo from Barcelona.
The Athletic have recently reported about Leeds’ signing of Firpo, laying down some details about how the club managed to sign the player from Barcelona.
The report states that while Firpo was interested in a move to Milan and the tradition of the club, he was hesitant about playing as a second-fiddle to Theo Hernandez. Around a fortnight ago, Leeds accelerated their chase and Orta then organised a lunch with Firpo and his agent in Barcelona.
