Lots of Leeds United fans have been venting their anger on Twitter at the latest news to come out of the Yorkshire club on Friday afternoon. 

Leeds announced they would be playing two games this summer part of their pre-season preparations, with games against Ajax and lined up.

The will face Real Betis first at Loughborough University which will take place on 31st July, followed by a to to face Ajax on 4th August.

Fans will be able to attend the game against Real Betis, however, as a result of the current travel restrictions, they will not be able to travel to Amsterdam for the game against Ajax.

Leeds fans flocked to the tweet from the official club Twitter account to share their frustrations at not being able to attend the game at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

“Gutted no fans, would have loved Ajax away. Been to the ground twice but never seen a live game there. One of my fave cities as well”

The Yorkshire club kicks off their 2021/22 Premier League campaign with a derby game against their bitter rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on 14th August.

The reaction of these Leeds fans makes it pretty clear they are far from impressed at the idea of not being able to attend the game against Ajax in Amsterdam.
