David Norris has tipped Jack Harrison to play for England in the coming years and believes signing him was great business for Leeds.
Will Junior Firpo be a success at Leeds United?
Harrison had spent much of his teenage years in America before making the switch to the Premier League champions.
But it never appeared likely that the winger was going to get an opportunity under Pep Guardiola, which led to him spending three consecutive seasons with Leeds.
In total, Harrison has scored 18 goals and added 20 assists in more than 100 appearances under Marcelo Bielsa, with his best individual season coming when he contributed 16 goals in the topflight.
Such was Harrison’s popularity, Leeds wasted no time in securing his services permanently, and Norris recognised the importance of getting the deal over the line.
He exclusively told This is Futbol:
“I think it’s big. I really like him. I know they love him there, and he’s done well. I said I think if they get him, it’s a great piece of business.
“I think he go on and play international football and kick on and be a massive player for them.”
