David Norris says signing talented England under-21 international Noni Madueke would excite Leeds United fans ahead of the new season.
The 19-year-old had a scintillating campaign for PSV Eindhoven, with him scoring nine goals and contributing eight assists in 32 appearances for the Dutch side.
Madueke’s form has resulted in him gaining the attention of a number of clubs across Europe.
Would you like to see Noni Madueke in the Premier League?
Borussia Dortmund are among those keeping tabs on the former Tottenham Hotspur youngster, with him being seen as a potential replacement for England international Jadon Sancho after he agreed terms with Manchester United.
Leeds’ interest in the attacker was reignited after PSV lowered their asking price to £20million.
But Norris, who enjoyed a three-year spell at Elland Road during his playing career, says the Leeds supporters would be overjoyed if Bielsa can add Madueke to his ranks.
Speaking exclusively to TIF, Norris said: “I think he would excite the Leeds fans. I have spoken to a couple of fans and, just after mentioning his name, they were both saying they would love to get him in.
“He’s composed on the ball and looks a talent. I think the fans would like that one.”
