Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on Twitter to the latest claim to emerge in the ongoing saga regarding Harry Kane’s future.
According to The Telegraph, Manchester City have informed Tottenham of their opening offer of £85m +£15m in add-ons and first refusal on some of their unwanted players.
Will Harry Kane leave this summer?
It was reported back in May that Kane has the wish to leave the north London club this summer after another year of the club failing to qualify for the Champions League.
The Englishman won both the Premier League Golden Boot and Playmaker awards for the 2020/21 campaign after finding the back of the net 23 times and providing 14 assists.
Spurs fans flocked to the tweet from Daily Hotspur who relayed The Telegraph’s claim and it was clear they were left unamused by City’s reported offer.
What exactly did these Spurs fans have to say?
“Hahahahahah what a joke”
“What a horrendous offer that is”
“First refusal on players who earn double most of our players. I’ve got a funny feeling this isn’t gonna be accepted.”
“Put Oil FC in their place cause this is disgusting”
Kane is currently valued at £108m by Transfermarkt, however, it is reported Daniel Levy is looking for an offer of £150m to consider allowing the 27-year-old to leave this summer.
The reaction of these Spurs fans makes it pretty clear they are far from impressed by City’s reported offer and that they would like to see a much-improved offer if the club is to sell their talisman.
