Many Celtic supporters have been talking about the latest managerial claim that Danny Mills has made.

Mills was recently chatting with Football Insider and spoke about the Celtic managerial situation, amid links with a move for Yokohama F Marinos boss Ange Postecoglou.

The former England defender talked about the idea of Roy Keane managing at Celtic, claiming that while the Irishman knows the Hoops and while it wouldn’t be a problem for him to win games in the Premiership, there is the risk of things falling apart in the longer term. He also urged Celtic to be careful over any potential appointment of Keane.

It has been recently suggested that Keane was extremely keen on taking over at Parkhead.

What did Celtic fans make of this claim about Keane?

Celtic are said to be in talks with a move for Postecoglou, even though Mills believes that Keane may be a good option in the short term.

The Australian has won a fair share of trophies in his managerial career, having guided the Australian national team to a couple of World Cup finals as well. He also sticks to an attacking brand of football, which relies on building out from the back.
