Many Celtic fans have been talking about an update about Kevin Muscat that emerged on social media.
The Daily Record has recently reported about Muscat, claiming that the ex-Gers man will not join Ange Postecoglou at Celtic as the club’s assistant manager. He is not expected to be anywhere near the club’s rebuild as Postecoglou gears up to take over at Parkhead.
Would you have liked Muscat at Celtic?
According to the Daily Record, it was reported in Australia that Muscat, who spent one season at Ibrox, will join the Yokohama F Marinos boss at Celtic.
What did Celtic fans make of the news about Muscat?
“Make up your minds.“
“Thank God for that.”
“Good he’s a thug.”
“Well hopefully that’s that sorted.”
“Good, now folk can stop greeting about it.”
“Can we shut up about Muscat now thanks.”
These Celtic fans seem glad that Muscat won’t be joining Postecoglou at Parkhead should the Australian arrive at the club.
During his career so far, Muscat hasn’t worked at a club from the top five European leagues and his last managerial stint came at Belgian club Sint-Truiden.
Considering that factor and his past with the Gers – even though he was at Ibrox for only one season, it makes sense why Celtic fans don’t want Muscat at Parkhead.
