Nice easy one to start off with. How much do you think Declan Rice is worth?

The Czech Republic international has been heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium to link up with international teammates Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal.

However, it seems as if his club, Spartak Moscow, want to wait until after the European Championships to sell him, in the hope that his price will go up.

Ex said: “Now the agent of Kral let us know his terms, we seem quite happy with the terms, but Spartak Moscow want to let him play in the Euros, which he will do, and then see what valuation they can get for him then, and create a bidding war.

“That’s a bit of a gamble because obviously, if he doesn’t play that well, then it might put people off, but the hope is he will play well and that people will want to bid for him, and his value will then go up.

“So whilst we had a sort of interest in him, it never grew beyond being interested and checking out what was happening.”

TIF Thoughts on Kral…

West Ham currently have both Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice as defensive midfielders, but with the Hammers in the Europa League next season, you would have thought they could do with at least one more player in there.

Kral is a natural defensive midfielder and is also young, so he could be brought in as a rotation option for Rice or Soucek.

However, it appears as if the Hammers have cooled their interest in the 23-year-old for now because of Spartak’s insistence on waiting to see how he does at the Euros.

So, we will be watching on to see how Kral performs for his country as that could be important for West Ham’s interest.
