Nice easy one to start off with. How much do you think Declan Rice is worth?

The 28-year-old spent the second half of the 2020/21 campaign on loan to the Hammers from Manchester United, and he scored nine goals and provided five assists in just 16 games.

This stellar form saw Lingard recalled into the England squad though he missed out on Gareth Southgate’s final squad for the Euros.

However, the good news for West Ham fans is that Lingard wants to go back to the London Stadium permanently.

Ex said: “Now there is good news in that respect that he has made it clear to many people that he would like to come back to West Ham. He believes that West Ham is where he enjoyed himself, and he’ll get more opportunities to be the star man, rather than maybe a fringe man at Manchester United.

“So he has said he’d be more than prepared to come back, but the problem is going to be whether Manchester United allow him to and what the competition is going to be like for him.

“I’d like to think if Manchester United let him go that we would have a very strong chance of signing him.”

Do you think West Ham will sign Lingard?

TIF Thoughts on Lingard to West Ham…

There was talk of Lingard costing West Ham in the region of £25m, but after what he did for the Hammers while he was on loan, we feel that they have to sign him.

He looked happy in a West Ham shirt and delivered some spectacular performances.

Now that the transfer window is officially open and the 28-year-old will not be involved in the Euros, it will be interesting to see if this deal picks up any momentum and West Ham can get him signed quickly.
