Many Tottenham fans have today been reacting to the latest news and rumours surrounding their club on Twitter.
Tottenham-focused Twitter account @thespursweb relayed reports from Serbian outlet Sport Klub (via Sport Witness) that stated that Spurs are the only club willing to pay his €60m (£51.4m) price tag the Italian outfit have placed on his head and lead the race for his signature.
So how exactly did Tottenham fans react to the rumours circulating on Twitter?
“Kane’s replacement then”
Judging by the reaction of many Spurs fans, they seem to be under the feeling that Daniel Levy fronting up £50m+ isn’t something he would do without receiving significant funds for a player like Harry Kane, having only spent £50+million once since he has owned the club.
Vlahovic is currently valued at £36m, according to Transfermarkt. The 21-year-old scored 21 goals in Serie A last year and as some fans have mentioned, he could be the perfect replacement for Kane if he was to leave his boyhood club this summer, seemingly excited by his impressive goalscoring record.
Fiorentina could well have hiked their price up for the Serbian international as they know Spurs could be receiving a large chunk of money soon for Kane, but it is clear there could be mixed feelings about what his potential arrival could entail for Tottenham.
