Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has been speaking on the latest episode of his Here We Go podcast to discuss all things regarding potential summer moves.

One name which the Italian journalist discussed was Tottenham Hotspur winger, Lucas Moura.

Should Spurs sell Lucas Moura this summer?

No

The Brazilian forward has been a Tottenham player since January 2018 when he made the move from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee believed to be in the region of £23m.

However, the 28-year-old was only able to find the back of the net three times during the 2020/21 Premier League campaign, where he made 30 appearances (via Transfermarkt).

Romano revealed on the podcast there are multiple clubs looking at the Brazilian as a possible target in this summer’s transfer market.

He said: “But talking about Tottenham, just to clarify, keep an eye on Lucas Moura because there are some Arabic clubs asking for him.

“So let’s see what happens. But it depends on the manager also what kind of tactics they are going to have next season.”

TIF Thoughts on Moura’s future…

Lucas Moura has had a strange time during his Tottenham career. The Brazilian winger has enjoyed the highs of his second-leg heroics against Ajax but has struggled to nail down any form in the last two Premier League campaigns.

The 28-year-old is currently valued at £22.5m by Transfermarkt and we think if Tottenham receive a bid in that kind of region, they should consider moving on Moura this summer.

It would likely be a hard decision to decide on the future of Moura given his status at the club following that night in Amsterdam, but his recent numbers in the league have not been anything amazing.
