Starting with a current Tottenham star. How many PL goals has Harry Kane scored for Spurs?

Spurs sacked Jose Mourinho in April and have been looking for a new boss since, and many people have been linked with the job, though talks with Antonio Conte are thought to be progressing.

However, McGarry claims that Spurs are interested in former Lille boss Christophe Galtier after their move for Mauricio Pochettino stalled.

He said: “Spurs have been heavily linked with trying to get [Pochettino] to return to London as their manager.

“However, it’s also the case that we understand here at The Transfer Window podcast that Lille, newly crowned champions of Ligue 1, have received a note of interest from Tottenham in their coach Christophe Galtier, who Spurs are interested in on the basis that it may be the case PSG will be recalcitrant, and certainly difficult to deal with taking Pochettino back.”

Would you take Galtier at Tottenham?

TIF Thoughts on Galtier…

54-year-old Galtier told Lille that he wanted to step down at the club after a fantastic season that saw his side break PSG’s dominance of the French top flight.

So, based on that, he could be easy for Spurs to recruit, and given that he just won the title with far lesser resources than PSG, he could do a job in England with Tottenham.

However, you would think the likes of Pochettino and Conte would be ahead of Galtier in Tottenham’s list because of their previous experience in England.

If a move for Conte or Pochettino fails, then we wouldn’t be surprised to see Spurs turn their attention to Galtier, and we would like to see what he could do in the Premier League.
