Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest piece of transfer news to emerge concerning the north London club.
This comes after Spurs-focused Twitter account @THFCReports shared a post relaying news originally published by Sky Sports, that claimed the Lilywhites are interested in signing Brighton & Hove Albion’s Tariq Lamptey.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from a number of Tottenham supporters, who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on this claim.

With Gareth Bale returning to Real Madrid after his recent loan spell at Tottenham, where he played mostly as a right-winger, perhaps bringing Lamptey in, who plays on the right for Brighton, could turn out to be a better long-term fit for Spurs considering he’s only 20 years old, rather than looking to potentially bring Bale back.
However, with Lamptey being out injured for the majority of the season with a hamstring issue he picked up back in December, the length of time that he’s been out of action is a concern and could potentially put Spurs, or any other interested club, off from making a move, in our view.
