A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have vented their frustration on Twitter following a claim to emerge regarding their search for a new permanent manager.
According to Ian Abrahams, it is now a two-horse race between Nuno Espirito Santo and Graham Potter becoming the next Spurs manager.
Who would you rather as Spurs manager?
The north London club have been linked with a long list of managers since the departure of Jose Mourinho, but most recently, talks with Paulo Fonseca have fallen through.
Nuno Espirito Santo left Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of the 2020/21 Premier League campaign and Potter is still currently managing Brighton & Hove Albion.
Spurs fans flocked to the tweet from TranSPURS relaying the claim from the TalkSport correspondent and it was apparent they were pretty frustrated by the ongoing manager hunt.
What exactly did these Spurs fans have to say?
“This club in the gutter”
“I beg they come third in a two-horse race”
“How have we ended up here”
It was initially reported Spurs wanted to appoint their new manager before the end of the 2020/21 Premier League campaign, however, they are now in the transfer window without a new manager in charge.
The reaction of these Spurs fans makes it pretty clear they are becoming increasingly annoyed by their ongoing hunt for a new manager having sacked Mourinho back in April.
