have been reacting to claims about the future of some of the players at the club.

Erik Lamela has certainly had a bit of a bumpy time in north London. Having initially arrived as one of the men to replace Gareth Bale in the summer of 2013, he has been reasonably productive in the eight seasons that he has been here with 37 goals and 47 assists during a spell in which he was riddled with injuries.

Starting with a current Tottenham star. How many PL goals has Harry Kane scored for Spurs?

He has never really shone in the side other than his brief flashes of brilliance like his ‘rabona’ finish against Arsenal back in March, indeed he has racked up more yellow cards than he has goals, all of which leads to him being much maligned during his time with the club.

However, that time could be about to come to an end. Journalist Rob Guest, speaking in a Q&A on Football.london, claims that he could soon be on his way out of the club along with Lucas Moura, as Steven is set to take on a ‘big role’ for the club next season.

This was passed onto fans on social media via @TheSpursExpress, where there were plenty who were all too happy to see the news that they could be on their way:

“Finally some good news”

“Things you love to see”
“I swear if Lucas leaves I will cry tears of joy”
“Some positive news! Finally.”
“this what i like to see”
“Don’t tease me”

Will Lamela leave this summer?

With a new regime set to kick in at Spurs with the appointment of Fabio Paratici and a new manager on the way, these sales could provide them with some decent funds in order to stage a decent rebuild of the squad.

Although you suspect these fans aren’t thinking about the finances of the deal, they just want him gone.
