Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to claims surrounding the future of Serge Aurier.
The Ivorian had a bit of a tough year, battling it out with Matt Doherty to try and hold down the right-back spot at Tottenham and very rarely managing to get a consistent run of games under his belt.
Now, though, it would appear as if he might not be getting any more games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has claimed that he will be making the move to Paris Saint-Germain soon in a €20m (£17.2m) move that will see him reunite with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
This news was relayed to fans via @HotspurRelated for fans to have their say, and it’s fair to say that there were fans who were all too happy to see him edge closer to the exit in north London, with many praising those at the club for making the deal happen:
“LIMBSSSS”
Although, given that Doherty statistically performed worse than Aurier last season, you’d hope that they have a decent replacement lined up, otherwise this could be nothing but a step backwards.
