Serie A expert Conor Clancy has urged Dusan Vlahovic to leave Fiorentina and believes he would be a fine signing for Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The 21-year-old striker has enjoyed a breakout season at the Italian club, as they finished 13th in Serie A.

Vlahovic scored 21 league goals in 37 games and has subsequently been linked with an exit from the club this summer.

Spurs have been linked, as have Arsenal, while Juventus are said to have identified Vlahovic as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo if the legendary attacker leaves Turin this summer.

A deal to bring the Serbia international to north London would likely be hugely expensive as he has a contract until 2023 and is valued at £36m by Transfermarkt.

But Clancy, who is the editor-in-chief at Forza Italian Football, believes a move to Spurs would suit both the club and the player.

Speaking exclusively to This Is Futbol, he said: “I’d encourage him to leave and try his hand somewhere else.

“If Spurs are in need of a striker, I think that could go quite nicely. I do think he’s a very, very talented player.”
