Bamford has certainly taken the Premier League by storm having netted 17 goals after pundits doubted his ability to cut it in the Premier League following failed stints with Crystal Palace, Norwich City and Middlesbrough.

Could Bamford replace Kane?

Yes!

No!

Under Marcelo Bielsa, Bamford appears to have become a much more capable striker in front of goal as well as bringing others into play as he finished the season as the second top-scoring Englishman, only behind Kane.

Despite only having one successful season in the top flight he could become one of the top strikers about under the right management and guidance, thus he could be an option for Spurs, according to Stewart who spoke exclusively to This is Futbol:

I think he’s performed exceptionally well because he couldn’t score a goal in the Championship but now he’s turned that around and he looks like a quality player.

“A manager might look at somebody like Bamford and think that they can develop him into one of the best strikers around.”

Reports have certainly suggested that Tottenham may consider Bamford as an option should Kane eventually leave the club this summer, however they may also bring in another striker to help shoulder the burden.
