Former Everton striker Marcus Bent believes that Harry Kane should be Manchester City’s priority over signing Jack Grealish this summer.
Pep Guardiola’s side have been linked with both players as they look to continue their dominance of English football having won the League Cup and Premier League last season to make it eight domestic trophies from the previous 10.

City already boast the creative likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden but are in desperate need of signing a centre-forward having been forced to play with a false nine at times last term, whilst legendary striker Sergio Aguero left for Barcelona, with Kane one of their top targets.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa having already signed a possible Grealish replacement in Emiliano Buendia for a club-record fee, which could allow the 25-year-old, whose excellent season earned him a place in the England squad for the European Championships, to make the reported £100m switch to the reigning league champions.
But Bent exclusively told This is Futbol that the Tottenham striker should be City’s priority this summer:
“I think Kane is the top one in Europe and at the minute he’s in the top five players in the world.
“They’re talking about £200m, wages wise must be £500k-per-week, you look at Ronaldo and Messi, with the market how it is. So, Kane for me.”
