Graham Roberts has urged Tottenham to get rid of both Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko as quickly as possible.
With Spurs yet to appoint a replacement for Jose Mourinho, it’s not yet clear who the new manager will want in his squad.
Would you like Thuram at Tottenham?
Yes
No
But several first-team players, including Aurier and Sissoko, have been linked with moves away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – with the former making his feelings public about returning to PSG this summer.
The pair were both in fine form at the beginning of last season, and a key part of Mourinho’s team, but both lost their way as the campaign played out.
Aurier shared the right-role load with Matt Doherty, but midfielder Sissoko made just four Premier League starts after Christmas, although he was still named in France’s squad for this month’s Euro’s.
But with both out of favour towards the end of the season, the former Tottenham captain has told the club to move them on.
He told This is Futbol:
“I heard Aurier was leaving and Moussa Sissoko – well, sell them! Sell them as quickly as you can, get the money in and buy a decent player.”
