A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from their club which contains information on Ryan Fraser’s latest international appearance.

Newcastle's all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Alan Shearer but how many goals did he score for the club?

The 27-year-old was selected to be part of Scotland’s Euro 2020 squad despite not featuring in the last nine Toon games, and came on as a substitute in their 2-2 draw with the Netherlands.

This drew the attention of these Newcastle fans, who are fuming.

There is definitely something off about him. Whether he’s genuinely unfit or just a horrible attitude like at Bournemouth. I do think he will be moved on and will likely end up in Scotland or a Championship side.”

He reminds me a bit of Michael Owen….always fit for England, but amazingly unavailable for NUFC. I think clubs (who pay the exorbitant wages) should be able to prevent injured players from going on international duty. Again, certain individuals are treating fans as mugs.”

Do you think that Newcastle should sell Fraser?

No, he needs to be given a proper chance

Yes, get rid

Yes, get rid

Fraser joined the Toon on a free in the last summer transfer window and made 22 appearances, scored one goal, and provided three assists in all competitions.

However, his first season on Tyneside was heavily disrupted, and these Newcastle fans think that he is a snake.

He’s such a snake, injured most of the season but fit enough every Scotland game”

Sell the rat.”

@FrankieeD9

“Definitely never injured”

@NUFCMitch

Fraser has undoubted ability and has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the past, but he has failed to deliver as of yet for the Toon.

Many of these Newcastle fans appear to have given up on him, but we think he deserves one more season to prove his worth.
