A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from NUFC HQ, which has relayed a report from Football Insider regarding Rafael Benitez and his potential move to Everton.
It claims the Spaniard has been told to avoid the Toffees’ job and that Benitez was getting cold feet over the role after Everton fans expressed their disappointment at the news that they were going to appoint him as their next manager.
It has since been suggested that Everton have withdrawn their interest in the former Newcastle and Liverpool boss.
However, it was this initial report that got these Toon fans talking.

With Benitez not taking the Everton job, he is still available for the Toon job should the proposed takeover eventually go through.
