A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from The Chronicle, which includes a link to an article on their website containing quotes from Alex McLeish regarding Danny Rose potentially returning to the Toon.
Speaking to Football Insider, McLeish claimed that “Newcastle fans actually would love Danny Rose to go back” and that signing him would be “incredible”.
This post drew the attention of these Toon fans who had their say.

Rose spent the second half of the 2019/20 season on loan at Newcastle and made 13 appearances before he returned to Tottenham Hotspur.
However, with Spurs releasing him, he is now available on a free – but these Toon fans don’t think Rose would be a good signing.

The 30-year-old has bags of Premier League experience, but it is clear that many of these Newcastle fans don’t want him anywhere near their club.
