Newcastle United fans have been reacting to claims about what their new kit could look like next year.
There is a lot that is up in the air right now at the club; from the takeover to what the club are going to do in the transfer market, there isn’t a lot that the club can be certain of heading into next season.
There even seems to be some contrasting claims when it comes to what kit they are going to be wearing.
Designer @Maverfootball came up with some designs for what Steve Bruce’s men could be adorning next season, and now a more recent claim from The Chronicle has claimed that Newcastle will be decked out in ‘a grandad neck collar’ style, which essentially means buttons near the top of the shirt.
The news was passed on to fans on social media with a sneak peek at what the shirt might look like for their reaction, where there was a pretty positive response:
Do you think the takeover is likely to happen at Newcastle this year?
Yes
No
It’s quite odd how complicated it is to get a simple kit design right, especially for a club like Newcastle United, who have a pretty simple design of black and white stripes, there’s not really a lot that needs to be done.
