Newcastle's all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Alan Shearer but how many goals did he score for the club?

The Sky Sports reporter claims that “when developments come“, he will provide an update; he also said that developments on the takeover would happen, so something could be happening behind the scenes.

This post drew the attention of these Toon fans who had their say.

Cheers Pete”

@gaz818

I’ll believe it’s true, when you report it’s done”

@JTRUTT1

Class @PeteGravesTV absolutely brilliant and much-needed post! Until it’s on @SkySportsNews I won’t believe any of it”

@DiscoDaveToon

Do you think the takeover will finally go through?

No, not a chance

No, not a chance

Yes, it has to happen

Yes, it has to happen

The clubs’s arbitration case over the takeover is supposedly set to begin in July, so perhaps we will hear something on the takeover soon that was initially withdrawn nearly a year ago.

This post from Graves continued to draw in Newcastle supporters.

Gunna be a lot of disappointed fans on here when the inevitable happens and we’re stuck with Ashley for another season or 12″

@ChrisSteele90

I gloss over all the speculation to avoid getting heartbroken again, something I think most of us fans ought to do as otherwise we’re left open to about the only trolling Mackems could do to us right about now But thanks Pete, fingers crossed”

@Ftumch3

So you are telling us Luke Edwards and Ben Jacobs know nothing magic just what we thought !”

@NufcNath92

This takeover saga has been rumbling on for a long time now but with arbitration finally set to start, could we be approaching the end?

Graves’ tweet suggests that something is happening, but it remains to be seen if that is good or bad news for the Toon.
