A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from NUFC HQ, which has relayed news from Football Insider on Rafael Benitez.
They claim that the Spaniard is the top target for the Saudi-backed consortium, should their takeover of the Toon finally be approved.
They also state that the club are confident that the takeover will finally go through after the arbitration case set to take place in July.
This has drawn the attention of these Toon fans who are hoping that Benitez returns.

The Spaniard took charge of 146 games as Newcastle manager and could see the potential of the club, but under Mike Ashley, it was never realised, and Benitez departed in the summer of 2019.
