Lots of Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration at the latest claim to emerge in their reported interest in Kristoffer Ajer.
According to the Sunday Mirror (via The Chronicle), the Magpies are set to make the Celtic defender their first signing of the summer transfer window.

However, the latest report from the Northern Echo has suggested the Toon will face competition for Ajer’s signature from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
Ajer has played a large role in Celtic’s 2020/21 campaign with 31 appearances to his name in the Scottish Premiership alone (via Transfermarkt).
The tweet from NUFC360 relaying the claims saw Newcastle fans flock to provide their thoughts on the latest in their reported Ajer interest.
