Who scored the opening goal in Liverpool's 4-3 win over Leeds United at Anfield in September?

It looks like the English winger is edging closer to a move to Old Trafford and O’Rourke provided an update on his situation.

He said: “This deal is finally edging ever closer.

“I think United have been keeping long-term tabs on him. We all know Jadon Sancho wanted this move to happen, and it seems a fee is close to being agreed between United and Dortmund, and probably the biggest sticking point right now will be the structure of the payments of this deal.”

Do you think the Sancho deal will be done soon?

TIF Thoughts on Sancho…

The current Borussia Dortmund man left Manchester City in the summer of 2017 for a move to the Bundesliga, and it has proven to be an excellent move for him.

In 137 appearances, he has scored 50 goals and provided 64 assists in all competitions for Dortmund.

In that time, he has also made his England debut and played 20 games for the Three Lions; however, it looks like the time has come for him to return to England and Manchester.

The Red Devils do have quite a few right-wing options with the likes of Dan James and Amad Diallo, but bringing in a player like Sancho would give them a truly world-class option.

Manchester United finished second last term but were 12 points behind City, so could the addition of Sancho make a difference?

It remains to be seen, but it does look like the deal for the 21-year-old to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side is edging closer to completion, and we think he could be a fantastic signing.
