A transfer saga that took over last year’s summer transfer window was Jadon Sancho to Manchester United, with Borussia Dortmund holding firm on their asking price.

However, reports have emerged that suggest the Bundesliga club have now lowered their demands and former Manchester City midfielder, Paul Stewart, would like to see the Red Devils sign Sancho.

Sancho has never agitated for a move away from Germany but has always been open to the prospect of returning to England and with Dortmund in no need to sell one of their star players, it appears a difficult deal for Man United to pull off.

Will Man United sign Sancho?

Despite all the hurdles, Man United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Sancho, who is currently said to be earning £160,000 a week in Germany.

Having been sold by Man City back in 2017, it is now their rivals who appear to be in the box seat for Sancho’s signature, something that former City midfielder, Stewart, exclusively told This is Futbol that he would love to see:

I’d like to see Man United sign him because I think he’s quality and there’s talk of Sancho and Kane being targets for Manchester United.”

Who scored the opening goal in Liverpool's 4-3 win over Leeds United at Anfield in September?

Sancho once again had an extremely productive season in the Bundesliga having found the back of the net eight times and registered 12 assists for the likes of Erling Haaland and Marco Reus.

Man United are in desperate need of a quality right winger and Sancho would fit the bill perfectly as he’s quick, agile, great with the ball at his feet and can finish, which is proven through his record with Dortmund of 50 goals and 64 assists in all competitions.
