After falling short in their first-ever Champions League final it would make sense if Manchester City splashed the cash this summer, and former City star Paul Stewart can see them doing so on Jack Grealish.

City have been linked with a groundbreaking deal for Harry Kane, however if Pep Guardiola still wants to play with a false nine then Grealish could be the one that the current Premier League champions go for.

Is Grealish worth £100 million?

Yes!

The Villa fan and captain enjoyed an amazing season which saw him also earn his first England call up and there have been reports recently linking him with a move to Man City who would be willing to make him the first £100 million Premier League signing.

After proving his worth in Villa’s side this season it is safe to say that no matter what team ends up signing Grealish, they are getting a stunning player and Stewart would not be surprised to see his former side pay £100 million for the England international, as he exclusively told This is Futbol:

I can see him moving for £100 million, without a doubt because he is a special talent so I could definitely see that happening.”

Man City fan? We bet you can't get 100% on our City shirt quiz. From which season is this City shirt?

With the abundance of talent Man City have in the final third they may feel as though someone like Grealish isn’t essential but instead go for someone such as Kane or Erling Haaland who can put away all the chances they create.

Despite all of their great football and plaudits they’ve achieved, it may not feel like such a great season for Man City considering there was a chance of doing the quadruple but instead they ended up with just the Carabao Cup and Premier League after being beaten by Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final and the Champions League final.
