Real Sociedad and Sweden sensation Alexander Isak is the “ideal striker”, says La Liga expert Euan McTear.
After a brilliant club campaign, Isak is now making a name for himself on the international stage with the Blue and Yellow at Euro 202o.
Earlier this year, the Mirror reported that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was keen on the 21-year-old following his performances in La Liga.

Wherever he ends up, that is if he does leave Spain, McTear is adamant that team will be getting the ideal striker.
“He’s so good, still only 21,” the Spanish football expert told TIF. “Still only 21 but has already played in Dortmund, played with Real Sociedad, won a Copa del Rey, playing for Sweden, he’s had big games, scored a couple of goals at the Bernabeu.
“He’s been great. Tall, technical but strong as well, so he’s just your sort of ideal striker I think. And he’s already proven so much I think just at 21.”
If Manchester City cannot get a Kane or a Haaland, based on what he has shown this year, perhaps Isak is worth a punt should Guardiola feel there is an absolute need to bring in a new No.9 before the start of the 2021/22 Premier League season.
