Manchester City chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak has promised fans that they will replace Sergio Aguero, as well as adding to other areas of the squad this summer with talk of Harry Kane and Jack Grealish joining rife, something Steve Howey would love to see happen.

City were dominant this season after their early-season blip and they show no sign of slowing down with reports confirming that they are interested in Kane this summer who could easily replace Aguero and probably more.

Will City sign Kane and Grealish?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

However, the biggest signing would potentially be Grealish who has impressed in England’s two friendly games against Austria and Romania with Pep Guardiola reportedly willing to splash out £100 million on the Aston Villa captain.

It is not something that rival clubs would want to see, Grealish and Kane signing for City and Howey gave his thoughts on what it would mean for other teams exclusively to This is Futbol:

It’s scary really if they manage to get them two or even Erling Haaland and Grealish, then that is a statement of intent and you would look at the other clubs and think that they might as well just give up.

Man City fan? We bet you can't get 100% on this City transfer quiz. According to Transfermarkt, a £68.4 million fee is the club's most expensive arrival, but which player cost this amount?

Adding two of Kane, Grealish or Erling Haaland to an already stacked City squad would be simply out of this world and would surely bring that illustrious Champions League trophy to the Etihad.

Howey was in awe at the thought of seeing Kane and Grealish link up with the likes of Kevin de Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden, as he added:

“What two signings that would be for them.”

It would be scary for the rest of the league, especially Liverpool and Manchester United who will be looking to close the gap on City for next season but it might signal an era of dominance given how well balanced the rest of their squad is.
