Transfer insider Dean Jones has claimed Harry Kane would like to leave Tottenham this summer and join Manchester City as Pep Guardiola looks for the replacement for the departing Sergio Aguero.

Kane, who’s been tied to Tottenham for the entirety of his senior careerhas seen his future come under wide discussion recently as he appears to have become frustrated with the minimal success he has endured during his career in north London, with the champions strongly linked to the England striker.

Speaking to Gary Neville last month, Kane revealed it was time to have a discussion with Daniel Levy over his future, but Jones has claimed that the England captain has already made his mind up in regards to his future.

Speaking to The Football Terrace, Jones had this to say:

“I think that for Harry Kane to get out of Tottenham is extremely difficult. I do think his stance is the same. I think as it stands right now, he’d like to go personally think that he wants to join Manchester City.

“It’s pretty obvious, really, because Sergio Aguero has left, there’s a space in the squad, and it’s a place where you’re pretty much guaranteed to win the silverware that he wants to have on show in his house, I guess.”

TIF Thoughts on Kane’s future…

Currently valued at £108million by Transfermarkt, Manchester City could be one of, if not, the only club able to produce the amount of money Levy would be seeking, with the pandemic having a huge impact on the financial resources available to each club, it seems that Tottenham and Levy could demand a staggering amount of money if they are to depart with their prized asset.

You’d imagine someone with a goal record like Kane’s could be the missing piece of Guardiola’s puzzle as he looks to go one better than last season and claim European dominance with Manchester City.
