Leeds' all-time top Premier League goalscorer is Mark Viduka but how many did he score?

The 19-year-old had a stellar campaign for Reading in the Championship and has been linked with a move to the likes of Arsenal and Bayern Munich as well as to the Whites.

The Frenchman scored seven goals and provided 12 assists in the Championship as the Royals missed out on a play-off spot.

Wainman was full of praise for Olise, and this is clearly a deal he would like to see happen.

He said: “He’s been strongly linked with a move away from the Madejski Stadium this summer and along with the likes of Arsenal, Leicester and Chelsea, Leeds United are apparently in the hunt for him.

“He had a brilliant season during the 20/21 season for the Royals, and he scored seven goals and registered 12 assists, so he’s a real talent and if we can get that done ahead of the likes of Arsenal, Bayern Munich, all these other clubs – that would be an amazing signing.”

TIF Thoughts on Olise…

Olise was prolific for both goals and assists in spells across the season; however, he also had huge chunks of the season pass by without a goal or an assist.

This suggests that he lacks consistency, but he is still very young, and given Marcelo Bielsa’s reputation for improving players, we think a move to Elland Road could be exactly what he needs.

The 19-year-old is also versatile, so he could be used in various positions.

The fact that massive clubs such as Bayern are interested suggests Olise certainly has a bright future, so it may be considered something of a coup if Leeds were to trump his other potential suitors in the fight for his signature this summer.
