David Norris expects Leeds goalkeeper Kiko Casilla to be moved on in the upcoming transfer window.
Casilla joined from Real Madrid in January 2019, and immediately replaced Bailey Peacock-Farrell as Marcelo Bielsa’s first-choice stopper.

However, since an eight-match ban kicked in back in February 2020 for racially abusing a Charlton player six months earlier, the Spaniard has appeared just four times in the league having lost his place in the side to Ilian Meslier.
Casilla started Leeds’ final two Premier League games last term, but made just three appearances overall, and with Bielsa already looking at bringing in another goalkeeper, it appears that his days at Elland Road are numbered.
At 34-years-old and one of the club’s highest earners at £40,000-per-week, it’s not difficult to see why Bielsa would be keen on getting rid of Casilla and bringing in someone younger and fresher to provide back-up for Frenchman Meslier.
And Norris exclusively told This is Futbol that it’s a deal that he thinks will happen:
“I’d expect to see that happen, I think he will probably end up back in Spain, so I expect to see that happen.
“It will be interesting to see who they do go for him [Gazzaniga] as he’s a free agent, so that would be ideal.”
