A lot of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the latest image to emerge of their midfielder Kalvin Phillips in England training. 

The 25-year-old suffered a shoulder injury on the final day of the 2020/21 Premier League campaign in a 3-1 victory over West Brom.

However, Phillips has been able to meet up with the England camp having been selected for Gareth Southgate’s 33-man provisional squad.

The Yorkshire club released an image of the midfielder in training ahead of England’s two warm-up friendlies against Austria and Romania ahead of this summer’s Euros.

Leeds fans flocked to the tweet from the official club account to show their absolute delight in seeing Phillips having recovered from his shoulder injury.

Phillips played a huge part in the Yorkshire side’s success this season with 29 appearances and one goal to his name in the 2020/21 Premier League campaign (via Transfermarkt).

Going by the reaction of these Leeds fans it is apparent they are delighted to see Phillips back to fitness and they will now be hoping he can make the cut for Southgate’s final 26-man Euros squad.
