Many Huddersfield Town fans were left buzzing by the news of a new contract for 20-year-old Scott High, whose new deal runs until 2025.

High progressed through the academy at Huddersfield Town and made his senior debut for the club on the last day of the 2019/20 season. The youngster was then sent out on loan to League One side Shrewsbury Town on a short-term loan deal for the first half of this past season, where he scored his first senior goal against Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup.

The 20-year-old returned to Huddersfield at the end of 2020 and appeared for the Terriers 14 times in the second half of the season and has now been rewarded with a new long-term contract.

Huddersfield fans on Twitter have appeared elated with the club tying down the youngster.
